Misikko Product Review and Giveaway
I am so excited that Misikko offered me 2 products to review... their Chi Silk Infusion and their Hana Shine Shield Heat Therapy. Now, anyone that knows me at all can tell you that I am not one to fuss over my hair and I especially don't like spending a lot of time or money on it. However, I might make an exception on the money part for these products. I am not saying these procucts are expensive, but they are more than I normally would spend... although that isn't saying much, most anything is more than I would normally spend for my hair.
What I first noticed was 1) how fast the products came and 2) how great they were packaged. Not only did I get the two products but they were in a box with beautiful stuffing, a gorgeous angel ornament type thing, a set of nail files and a pretty satin bag. Just opening the box I felt special, it was so beautiful. So, I take out the products and open them to smell them and they smell incredible.
I put on the Chi Silk Infusion first and it feels like oil. I think to myself... great, this is going to make my hair look so greasy (something I have been battling the past week or so since I started washing it only every other day because I've gotten so much advice about that). You really only need a small amount and immediately I feel a difference in my hair, and it looks smoother too.
Next, I wash my hands and then put on the Hana Shine Shield Heat Therapy. The reason I washed my hands before is because the directions state that you can put this on your hair or skin, so I figured I would try it as a moisturizer for my hands overnight. This one also seemed a little oily when I saw it, but to my sheer pleasure, neither of them were and neither of them made my hair look greasy. I then blow dried my hair and knew immediately that it felt softer. Before I was sent these products I told my husband, I wish I could make my hair look and feel softer... and then I get these... YAY!!!
Overall I feel like both of these items are great products. I have used them separately, for review purposes... and I noticed an improvement in my hair, but overall, I liked using them together for the best results.
Misikko has a bunch of great products. I hear they have the Best Hair Dryer and I would love to try out one of their Chi Straighteners.

Thankful Thursdays - Patience
I am thankful for my own patience and yours! I have waited 16 months to be a stay-at-home mommy and starting Monday... it's finally here! I actually thought it would never happen, so I am super-excited! Also, I know I have been behind on posting and I thank all of you for being patient and hanging in there. This is my last week of work (1 more day!) and I have been super busy at work and at home. I hope to have things settled down after the weekend so I can get back into a good posting routine. Also, the Kawaii Baby Pocket Diaper Giveaway is ending tomorrow and I will have another review and giveaway coming up soon for some Misikko Hair Care products! Plus, a more detailed review of all our cloth diapers - including pictures... since we will be cloth diapering exclusively, full-time, starting Friday evening!
